Taking emergency response to the road safety summit at Tema Station

27 March 2026CAECF Communications1 min read

Drivers are often first at the scene of a crash. At the National All Drivers Prayer and Road Safety Summit, we spoke about what they can do in those first minutes.

The Foundation joined drivers, transport unions and road-safety stakeholders at the National All Drivers Prayer and Road Safety Summit at Tema Station, Accra.

Charles Amissah lost his life after a road traffic crash, so this audience matters deeply to us. Our message was simple and practical:

  • Make the scene safe before you help
  • Call for help early: 112 or the National Ambulance Service on 193
  • Control severe bleeding
  • Do not move an injured person unless they are in immediate danger

We will be returning to lorry stations with hands-on first-response outreach. Find upcoming sessions.
